BELOW IS A LIST OF DEPARTMENT CIVIL WAR ANCESTORS WHO ARE NOT FOUND IN THE NATIONAL GRAVES REGISTRY. THE LIST IS STRUCTURED BY CAMP.

Brothers ! if you see your ancestor's name please contact your Camp, or Department Graves Registry Officer: He can HELP get them registered.

WE UNDERSTAND THAT SOME OF THE NAMES ON THE LIST ARE THERE BECAUSE ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE TRIED, YOU CAN NOT FIND WHERE YOUR ANCESTOR IS BURIED. LET US KNOW AND WE WILL MAKE A NOTATION NEXT TO YOUR ANCESTOR'S NAME.

THIS IS PRIMARILY A SERVICE TO THOSE BROTHERS WHO DID NOT REALIZE THEIR ANCESTOR IS NOT IN THE NATIONAL GRAVES REGISTRY DATA BASE, OR POSSIBLY AN ERROR EXSISTS THAT NEEDS CORRECTION.

INADDITION, IF A VISITOR TO THIS WEB-SITE SEES THE NAME OF A UNION SOLDIER ON THE LIST OF THE UNFOUND. THEY CAN THEN CONTACT US AND INFORM US OF THE GRAVE LOCATION, SO WE CAN VERIFY IT. 

To search the National Graves Registry yourself  RETURN  to the Projects Page and click on the link "National Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War" at the bottom of in the Navigation Bar on the left side of your screen. Once at the National web-site, then Click on the National Graves Search link.
